Deja vu! The Bank holiday Monday game against Winchmore in the Federation Cup Rd 2 produced a near identical game to Saturday's high scoring choker with Ickenham.

 Rod Mathurin and Tom Wakeford bashed fifties, while Paddy Mills and Dan Amadee played solid knocks in the thirties. Sadly the NL pacemen were wayward and ran into some excellent batsmen from the Hill. Despite canny spells of guile from Salman Ali and Paddy, Norths could not halt the Hill's momentum. With 60 needed off the final 8 overs the game was in the balance. But Norths could not hold on and the equation rapidly became 44 off 7. From there on in the Hill were in control.
